Hello Friends,
Micah and I had a wonderful Easter Celebration, and now (one week later) I finally feel like I am getting a little bit of a break. I don't feel like I have stopped since I began planning for Christmas!
Saturday before Easter, Lynnae invited me to join her taking photos for her photography class. She took a few that she needed for the assignment, and then we took some with my camera. I took the ones of her, and she took the ones of me. We got some good shots near an old coffee shop near Hope College.
Easter Sunday Morning began very early for me, I love being a part of the worship services at Second, especially on Easter. I got to church around 7AM, and was able to see all the hands working hard to make the sanctuary beautiful and to cover our cross in daffodils. Its always a beautiful piece of the worship services, and has been a tradition for years and years! You can see all the people working hard to make sure everything is perfect for the worship services, and it was! We finished with 10 minutes to spare for the 8AM service.

Following the services, We were able to enjoy our afternoon with the VanderHill family. This is actually my first Easter with them, for one reason or another, the past few years have been with the Keeley Family, so this was a new experience for me. The VanderHill Family does an Easter Egg hunt, AND Micah's mom gave us an Easter Basket. BOTH things I have never had before. All I had ever heard about Easter was Micah telling me "it's awesome! we do an Easter egg hunt, and it so fun!" Finally, a week before Easter I said to Micah "You know, I am 24... I really think I am too old for an Easter Egg hunt, and frankly darling, you are 22... probably too old too". Micah laughed at me, and let me know that the the Easter Egg Hunt is for the kids up through Middle School, while the cousins who are older than that are the ones who hide the eggs. That made a LOT more sense to me, and sounded much more fun! And although I liked hiding the eggs, I liked taking pictures of Micah's beautiful family more!

| It's not a VanderHill gathering, without some jamming! Matthew is getting really good at the Guitar. |

| Leah took this picture, but I love it, especially because you can see all the pictures that Grandma and Grandpa VH keep on their dresser of their family. |
This week we finished up a few things at the church, and beginning tomorrow morning, I get to be on my SUMMER schedule (which is a lot of fun, I get to do a lot of big thinking and planning). I am really looking forward to it!
Micah begins classes in 9 days, and He is enjoying his last few days of homework free life. We are taking lots of Bike Rides, and playing a lot of Wii games. He is looking forward to getting back into school, and his new Garden that he is trying his hand at this year (Herbs and Tomatoes).
We have truly been blessed,
Lots of love,
Meredith (and Micah)
